Because boats will be checking in using boat numbers vs. names, the updates will be in numeric order by boat number.  If you don't know your team's boat number, the names will be listed, as well.  (You will just have to scroll through and find them.)  Hopefully, this will enable quicker check-in and response times therefore quicker updates here.  Each class will be listed separately.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Unofficial word...the race has been delayed for an hour due to heavy winds, rain, etc. that is blowing through the area.  It looks like a fast moving storm so all should be good in an hour or so.

Is West still wearing that skirt?  Can elective surgery be in his future?
 

Reports are the Anderson Bros. Boat 1337 went through Ft. Osage (not a ckpt) at 12:33.  A group of 3 other boats were about 14 minutes behind...a little sketchy but we think it's Phil Bowden Boat 1200, Boat 1459 Pfefferkorn/Hansen and either Boat 1313 Hopkins/Mann or Boat 220 Los Humongous...not necessary in that order but they are all together.

Is there a status on RamRod boat 1980?  Heard they hit one heck of a head wind.

As of 3:11 p.m. CST 4 boats have checked in/out at Lexington.  Another 5-6 are coming up now.  As soon as the volunteer calls with the in/out times, I will have them posted here.  The first two checkpoints are the busiest and tend to take a little longer for the info to be passed on.  Every time as update comes in, I will post ASAP...here we go!!

Thanks for the update, Barbara.  That's happy news for Seattle and all of us living vicariously through Dave Anderson!

Yes thanks Barbara for the updates!! Just curious but will you keep posting the link for us to check as it is updated or do we always go to that one link you posted and it will be updated. Also i saw one team was DNS what does that stand for just curious. This is very exciting. I just talked to my fiance who is in boat 1515 and this is his first time and he said it is 100 times hard than he thought but he is hanging in there!!! Only 300 more miles to go!  

As I update, I will delete the previous post so we don't have multiple posts.  If I hear anything about "anything" while getting the times, I will let ya'll know.  There will only be one link at a time posted.
 
For now, I know boat 1200 Phil Bowden was looking to fix his rudder cable.  Not sure if he was successful.  
 
Jill, it's not blank ( I don't think).  Only 6 boats have been called in, so far.  As more boats check in, the spreadsheet will fill out.
